Mid-February update

hello and good afternoon. Just a brief note to wish those of you who celebrate Valentine’s Day a peaceful, enjoyable and kind day. With so much negativity in and around our lives at this time, perhaps this is the day to reflect on past February 14s with a small smile or, in some cases, a groan. Remembering other years will remind us that this period in our lives will eventually… Read More »Mid-February update

COMING SOON THE SAND CLOCK

My latest novel, The Sand Clock, is now in the hands of TRIMATRIX Management Consulting, Inc.  for editing and printing. The novel is about the lives of three elderly women who meet in a retirement home. They share the stories of their lives and, most importantly, their views on old age what it means to be an elderly woman in today’s society. The novel is based on conversations I have… Read More »COMING SOON THE SAND CLOCK

Langdon Hall, Cambridge

Spent a couple of days with the artist who created the book covers, my granddaughter, Elyse. Time spent with adult grandchildren is so very important. We relate not as older person to younger person but as equals. Lots of laughter. It was simply two women enjoying each other’s company and shared history. The staff at Langdon Hall were absolutely the best. The whole environment was one of relaxation, gourmet food… Read More »Langdon Hall, Cambridge

Update August 19/2019

Had my fourth book signing of the summer at Indigo in Ancaster this past Saturday. Chatted and enjoyed the company of folks interested in the mystery/thriller/supernatural genre. All three books are now available (The Emissary, The Interloper and The Emissary’s Endgame) through Amazon.ca and in eBooks Indigo, Kindle and Kobo. (and of course, thru my website) As usual, the staff at Indigo are knowledgeable and helpful and much appreciated.

Book Signing for the Emissary trilogy

Had a good book signing this past Saturday, August 10th at Indigo on Brant Street in Burlington. Folks were interested in the background to the books and how I came to write on such “different” themes. Great fun talking and listening to folks and the time went quickly. My next book signing will be at Indigo in Ancaster, this Saturday, August 17th. I enjoy the staff in every Indigo whether… Read More »Book Signing for the Emissary trilogy

Fishing in northern ontario

Just back from our annual fishing trip to Horseshoe Island on the Montreal River in Matachewan. We were on a small island with about 7 or 8 cabins. Our cabin sat on the top of rocks surrounded by mostly pines with a beautiful view of the water. I was forced to share “my” blueberry bushes with some very friendly ducks. The air is fresh, the early morning sun shines on… Read More »Fishing in northern ontario

Thank You

The Emissary’s Endgame is now available through my web site, theemissary.ca, amazon.ca and Ebooks Indigo, Kobo and Kindle. My deepest appreciation to the talented team at Trimatrix Management including Alexandra, editor and Grace, web site designer. A special thank you to Elyse who interpreted and designed all three covers. Writing a book is one thing. It is the professionals working in the background that “bring the book home”.
